Eligibility/Availability/Applications

 

Any person living in Central New York/Southern Tier area that has been diagnosed with cancer is eligible to apply for funds. Applicants must submit a completed application. Applications can be submitted by the patient, family member, friend, Physician, Hospital, etc
 

Financial Assistance from Small Steps CNY, Inc is made possible through our fundraising events and generous donors. Therefore, distribution will be based on the funds that are available at the time of submission and approval of the application. All applications will be reviewed and amount of distribution will be based on need (as stated in the application) by the board. The total distribution per applicant can not exceed $2,500.00.

All names and information will be kept confidential with Small Steps CNY, Inc. Unless the patient/family chooses to be a guest of one of our events.

Approval of applications could take anywhere from 30-90 days.  If it is an urgent need, please note it on the application and it will be considered.
